Detour is a band that started locally but quickly grew into a popular regional band. Detour has opened for and played shows with artists such as Marty Stuart, Confederate Railroad, Exile, 38 Special, and Justin Moore. Detour has played throughout West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, New York, and Ohio. Detour brings  a wide range of music such as  Blues, Bluegrass, Country and Rock. Detour has proven to be a crowd pleaser.

Robert Hale is a hometown boy from Jolo, WV but has spent many years in Nashville, TN. Robert has recorded singles such as A Place Where I Belong and Help. Robert also recorded with Dolly Parton on Two projects, Halos and Horns and For God and Country. Robert is equally at home on mandolin, guitar, banjo or just about anything with strings, and plays a variety of styles ranging from country to bluegrass to rock & roll.
